China: National Cybersecurity Standardisation Technical Committee opened consultation on Draft National Standards on Network Security Technology: Binary Sequence Randomness Detection Methods

On 25 April, the National Cybersecurity Standardisation Technical Committee opened a public consultation on the Draft National Standards on Network Security Technology: Binary Sequence Randomness Detection Methods, until 24 June 2025. The draft replaces the 2016 version and enhances randomness detection techniques for binary sequences, which are used in cybersecurity fields including encryption, authentication and secure communications.
