Turkiye: Competition Authority announced preliminary review into Apple over alleged pricing strategy violations under Law on Protection of Competition

On 27 February 2025, the Turkish Competition Authority announced the preliminary review into Apple over potential violations of Article 4 of Law No. 4054 on the Protection of Competition. The Article prohibits agreements and concerted practices between undertakings and decisions and practices of associations of undertakings that limit competition. The review focuses on allegations that Apple interfered with resellers’ sales prices.
