Prime Minister approves pilot mobile money program

On 9 March 2021, the Prime Minister of Vietnam issued Decision No. 316/QD-TTg approving a pilot Mobile Money program, including a licensing requirement for operators. Under the program, users will be able to use telecommunications accounts to deposit, withdraw, and transfer money, as well as to pay for small-value services and goods.
