Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development closes inaugural reporting period under framework on application of G7 Hiroshima Artificial Intelligence Code of Conduct

On 15 April 2025, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development closed the inaugural reporting period under the global framework on the application of G7 Hiroshima Artificial Intelligence Code of Conduct. The framework is aligned with the Hiroshima Process International Code of Conduct for organisations developing advanced AI systems, which requires companies including Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and OpenAI to report on their AI risk management practices, including risk assessments, incident reporting, and information sharing. The framework aims to foster trust, safety, accountability, and transparency in AI development by promoting comparable and transparent reporting.
