On 21 January 2025, the Information Technologies and Communication Authority (BTK) closes its public consultation on the draft regulation titled Ensuring National Cybersecurity and Enhancing Cyber Deterrence. The draft outlines a framework for safeguarding critical infrastructure, mitigating cyber threats, and enhancing national cyber resilience. The draft regulation's provisions include the roles and responsibilities of the National Cyber Incident Response Center (USOM), Sectoral and Institutional Cyber Incident Response Teams (SOMEs), and public and private stakeholders in managing cybersecurity risks.
