Implemented MCMC code of conduct for internet messaging and social media service providers

On 1 January 2025, the Code of Conduct (Best Practices) for Internet Messaging and Social Media Service Providers came into effect. The code of conduct aims to create a safe online environment for Malaysians, particularly children and vulnerable groups at high risk of exposure to harmful content. It outlines best practices to be adopted by service providers in addressing harmful online content and other conduct requirements. The Code aims to ensure that service providers prioritise online safety, especially for children and vulnerable groups.
