On 11 November 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China (MIIT) opened a consultation on the revised guidelines for identifying important data in the telecommunications field. This second consultation is open until 18 November 2024. The guideline addresses the proposed amendments to the industry standard and incorporates comments from the first consultation.
