Russia: Announced lawsuit against Apple Distribution International over alleged failure to delete online content classified as illegal

On 6 August 2024, a public lawsuit was filed against Apple Distribution International Ltd. (Case No. 05-3397/2024) in the Tagansky District Court of Moscow. The company allegedly violated Part 2 of Article 13.41 of the Code of Administrative Offences pertaining to the failure of a website owner or an owner of an information resource within the information and telecommunications network "Internet" to remove information or an Internet page when obligated to do so under the legislation.
