Cybercrimes Act adopted by the Parliament

The Cybercrimes Act is adopted by the South African Parliament. The Act establishes new offences regarding cybercrime, in particular to criminalise the disclosure of certain types of data messages. Further, the Act regulates the powers to investigate cybercrime and imposes obligations to report data breaches and establish a Point of Contact.
