Closed consultation on Regulations for Providing Digital Content Platform Services

On 30 November 2021, the Communications, Space and Technology Commission of Saudi Arabia (CST) closed its consultation on the Digital Content Platforms Regulations. The Regulations aim to regulate digital content platforms, support market development, attract investments, and promote competition. The Regulations apply to digital video, audio, gaming, and advertising platforms, and sets out different sets of licensing and registration requirements for different kinds of platforms.
