Ukraine: NBU opens consultation on draft regulations on the organization of cybersecurity in the banking system of Ukraine

On 4 November 2021, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has published draft regulations on the organization of cybersecurity in the banking system of Ukraine. At the same time, a consultation has been opened on the draft, set to run until 4 December 2021. The draft regulations lay out the basic principles around cybersecurity in the Ukrainian banking sector, and cover requirements for information exchange, protection of critical information, and independent security audits.
