The Bill aimed to regulate the application of AI in the workplace and to ensure the protection of the rights of workers and trade unions concerning the use of AI technologies. In particular, the Bill would have regulated the usage of AI in the context of workplace surveillance, privacy issues, and potential job loss due to automation. Furthermore, the Bill aimed to prevent discrimination by algorithms and establish the right to human review of high-risk decisions.
