On 21 June 2022, the Personal Data Protection Committee’s (PDPC) order PDPC order on exemption from record-keeping for data controllers that are small businesses B.E. 2565 (2022) enters into force. The exemption aims to alleviate administrative burdens on small businesses, including SMEs, community enterprises, social enterprises, cooperatives, non-profit organizations, and household businesses, by exempting them from data record-keeping requirements.
