Thailand: Adopted PDPC order on exemption from record-keeping for data controllers that are small businesses, B.E. 2565 (2022)

On 20 June 2022, the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) adopted the order on exemption from record-keeping for small businesses, B.E. 2565 (2022). This exemption aims to alleviate administrative burdens on small businesses, including SMEs, community enterprises, social enterprises, cooperatives, non-profit organizations, and household businesses, by exempting them from data record-keeping requirements.
