Issued Ministry of Digital Affairs (MODA) statement on joining Global CAPE

On 18 May 2024, the Ministry of Digital Affairs (MODA) announced that the country is joining the Global Cooperation Arrangement for Privacy Enforcement (Global CAPE) to facilitate cross-border cooperation in the enforcement of Data Protection and Privacy Laws with international partners. The Global CAPE was established with the aim of facilitating cross-border data transfers and providing mutual assistance and cooperation between jurisdictions to combat illegal activities and prevent infringements.
