Entry into force with grace period of Amendment of 2008 Law Concerning Electronic Information and Transactions

On 2 January 2024, the second amendment of Law No. 11 of 2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions entered into force. The law had previously undergone modifications through Law No. 19 of 2016. The new amendments are aimed at reinforcing guarantees of recognition and respect for the rights and freedoms of individuals. Notably, the second amendment introduces provisions for child protection online.
