Italy: Announced AGCOM Inquiry on Integrated Communications System's Markets

On 17 April 2024, the Italian Communications Regulatory Authority (AGCOM) announced its inquiry to gather insights and information on the identification of individual markets within the integrated communications system. The inquiry applies to Italy's internet and telecom services infrastructure. The inquiry aims to evaluate the integrated communications systems markets and assess their values. AGCOM carries the inquiry out annually to assess, among other things, the potential existence of dominant positions in these markets and possible risks to market pluralism.
