Description

Implemented Resolution (No 340) lifting the moratium on antitrust inspections of IT companies

On 28 March 2024, Resolution No. 340 to lift the moratorium on antitrust inspections of IT companies entered into force. This resolution reverses the ban introduced in 2022, responding to numerous complaints from the information technology market, particularly from small and medium-sized enterprises and consumers, about violations by dominant companies. The resumption of antitrust control aims to ensure equal conditions for all market participants, enabling them to realise their entrepreneurial potential effectively. The resolution aims to combat abuses by dominant digital services and platforms, protect the rights and interests of smaller businesses, prevent cartelisation in the IT sector, and foster the development of the industry under fair competition conditions.
