Closed consultation on MCI Digital Enterprise Blueprint

On 22 April 2024, the Ministry of Communications and Information (MCI) closed the public consultation on the Digital Enterprise Blueprint (DEB). The DEB aims to advance the digitalisation of enterprises and outlines recommendations and measures to be incorporated by private entities. The recommendations focus on empowering enterprises to use emerging technologies and digital solutions, increasing their cybersecurity and investments in workers. In regards to cybersecurity, MCI aims to establish a cybersecurity health check tool, raise cybersecurity standards for digital systems, and develop industry-specific cybersecurity guidelines. In addition, MCI noted that it plans to incorporate a minimum cybersecurity standard requirement as a factor in selecting vendors in various government service procurement processes.
