Massachusetts bill including food delivery service fee cap enters into effect after Governor’s approval

Bill H.5250 has entered into force after being approved by the Governor. Section 98 (Delivery Fee Cap Statute) of the Bill stipulates that food delivery service fees to restaurants may not exceed 15% of the sales price of an order. The provision will stay in effect until the Governor declares the end of the state of emergency that was called in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
