Bill to amend Federal Data Protection Act (20/10859) including measures redefining the legal basis for scoring

On 27 March 2024, the Bill (20/10859) to amend the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) was introduced to the lower house of the federal parliament, Bundestag. In particular, the Bill would prohibit the use of sensitive data, including ethnic origin, biometric data and health data, data subject's name, address and transaction history data, and minor's data to generate probability values for credit scoring.
