Terminated Notice on the Continuation of the National Emergency With Respect to Significant Malicious Cyber-Enabled Activities

On April 1, 2025, the President terminated the notice which continued national emergency in response to threats posed by malicious cyber-enabled activities from individuals located outside the United States. The notice extended Executive Order 13694, issued on 1 April 2015. The notice was made pursuant to the International Emergency Economic Powers Act due to the impact of the "malicious" activities on national security, foreign policy, and the economy.
