United States of America: President adopted order on continuation of the national emergency pertaining to significant malicious cyber-enabled activities (Order No. 2024-06720)

On 26 March 2024, the President adopted an order extending the national emergency declared under Executive Order 13694 concerning significant malicious cyber-enabled activities, beyond 1 April 2024. The measure applies to entities engaged in cyber activities that threaten U.S. national security, foreign policy, and the economy. The order maintains existing sanctions and enforcement mechanisms against individuals and entities responsible for such activities, including those outside the United States.
