Passed Oklahoma Artificial Intelligence Bill of Rights including data privacy measures

On 14 March 2024, the Oklahoma House of Representatives passed the Oklahoma Artificial Intelligence Bill of Rights, which includes data privacy and security measures. The Bill would establish the individual’s right to know when an AI model uses their data and to opt out. Further, the Bill mandates that any company that includes any data subject data in an AI model implement industry best practice security measures for data privacy and conduct at least annual risk assessments to assess design, operational and discrimination harm.
