Description

Introduced Delaware Artificial Intelligence Commission Act (HB 333)

On 18 January 2024, the Artificial Intelligence Commission Act (HB 333) was introduced in the Delaware General Assembly. The Act would establish the Delaware Artificial Intelligence (AI) Commission, tasked with making recommendations to the General Assembly and the Department of Technology and Information on AI utilisation and safety within the state. The Commission would also conduct an inventory of all Generative AI usage within Delaware's executive, legislative, and judicial agencies, identifying high-risk areas for the implementation of Generative AI. The Act stipulates that the Commission would terminate 10 years from enactment unless extended by the General Assembly.
