Description

Terminated Measures for Classified and Hierarchical Management of Cross-border Data Flow in Lingang New Area (Trial)

On 7 February 2025, the "Lingang New Area Data Cross-border Flow Classification and Grading Management Measures (for Trial Implementation)" are set to terminate. The regulation classifies cross-border data into three levels: core data, important data, and general data. General data can flow freely under relevant management requirements, core data is prohibited from crossing the border, and important data can be declared to the Municipal Party Committee's Internet Information Office for data exit security assessment. The Administrative Committee of Lingang New Area will provide data cross-border flow compliance services and daily supervision.
