Description

Implemented EU Commission Act on a data-sharing platform between Member States and the Commission ( AGORA platform)

On 17 February 2024, the AGORA data-sharing platform began operations following the European Commission's adoption of the Implementing Act on a data-sharing platform between Member States and the Commission. The platform aims to facilitate the sharing of data regarding the supervision, investigation, enforcement, and monitoring of services under the Digital Services Act (DSA). The implementing act outlines the operational arrangements for the operation of AGORA and establishes the responsibilities of the Commission, the Digital Service Coordinators (DSCs), and the Board in AGORA. Further, the act specifies access rights, confidentiality obligations and security measures. The AGORA became operational on the day of DSA implementation.
