On 2 February 2024, the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) announced the initiation of a consumer protection investigation into mobile phone operator Vectra. UOKiK states that the investigation is based on allegations that Vectra increases its telecommunication service subscription fees in intransparent fashion on the basis of inflation adjustment clauses. If the charges are substantiated, Vectra could be fined up to 10% of its turnover.
