Brazil: Closed Consultation on the Standard on the Rights of Personal Data Holders

On 4 March 2024, the public consultation of the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) on the Standard on the Rights of Personal Data Holders closed. The ANPD aimed to encourage participation from both data holders and processing agents through subsidies, seeking their input in shaping the normative framework. Contributions were solicited on various aspects, including the format, timelines, and implementation of procedures governing the exercise of rights by data subjects, as well as the operational procedures adopted by data controllers.
