Finland: Closed Consultation on Elisa's Acquisition of Moontalk Ltd by Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority

On 26 January 2024, the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (KKV) closed its consultation on the acquisition of Moontalk Ltd by Elisa Corporation. The KKV had invited the opinions of customers, competitors, suppliers, industry associations, and organisations to assess the potential impact of the acquisition on competition in the internet and telecom services sector. The KKV intervenes in business acquisitions if they are considered to substantially prevent effective competition in Finland.
