Opened consultation on ACM Guideline on implementation of DSA

On 18 January 2024, the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) opened a consultation on a guideline concerning the implementation of the Digital Services Act (DSA) until 16 February 2024. The DSA enters into force in the Netherlands on 17 February 2024 and the ACM is the supervising body concerning compliance with the DSA. The ACM has drafted a guideline for each type of provider, such as online platforms, search engines or internet providers. The guidelines provide assistance on dispute resolution, content moderation and elimination, protection of minors, as well as the handling of dark patterns to ensure the user's autonomous choice.
