Adopted results of Second Ministerial Japan-UK Digital Council on Cybersecurity Regulation

On 16 January 2024, the second Ministerial Japan-UK Digital Council convened, reviewing progress made and outlining the advancements and future initiatives in cybersecurity regulation. The collaboration includes working towards the mutual recognition of schemes for ensuring the security of Internet of Things (IoT) products and joint research and development activities on semiconductors. Further, both parties reviewed actions taken in the past year, including the UK-Japan Cyber Partnership.
