Consultation opened on draft decree amending decree 72 including minor protection mechanism
On 6 July 2021 the Ministry of Information of Communications of Vietnam opened the consultation on the draft decree amending decree No. 72/2013/ND-CP on management, provision and use of internet services and online information. Among others, the new draft provides regulations concerning the protection of minors including age verification, content filter and takedown requirements for social network providers. The consultation will close on 5 September 2021.
