Australia: Opened public consultation on ASD guidance on Foundations for Secure-by-Design Practices

On 2 November 2023, the Cyber Security Center (ACSC) of the Australian Signals Directorate (ASL) opened a public consultation on its guidance on foundations for Secure-by-design practices. The guidance outlines a security-focused approach to the development of digital products and services. The guideline specifies how the potential cyber threats could be considered from the beginning when developing a product. The guidance outlines measures that manufacturers can adopt regarding the design and architecture of their products to ensure a high level of data protection.
