Notification of official intention to join the DEPA

The Korean government notified the DEPA member countries of its intention to join the agreement. The DEPA is an agreement on trade in the digital economy between Singapore, Chile and New Zealand which entered into force earlier this year. It creates a common framework for data protection, establishes common rules on digital trade and removes digital barriers for businesses.
