Hungary: Accepted LG Electronics Magyar Kft voluntary commitments to address alleged unfair business practices

The GVH initiated an investigation into LG's Hungarian website to determine if it sufficiently informed consumers about these features. LG had advertised military-standard design and durability without providing clear information about the practical implications. Customers only discovered the limitations after purchasing the product, leading to potential warranty issues. In response to the GVH concerns, LG committed to updating its website, user manuals, and warranty cards, providing clearer and more balanced information about device resistance.
