Announced commencement of the accession process of Costa Rica to the Digital Economy Partnership Agreement (DEPA)

On 6 October 2023, Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry announced that the Digital Economy Partnership Agreement (DEPA) Joint Committee agreed to formally commence the accession process for Costa Rica. The Joint Committee established an Accession Working Group which will evaluate Costa Rica’s accession request, and assess its ability to comply with the obligations of the DEPA.
