Closed Consultation on Law on Administrative Penalties for Public Security including cybersecurity regulation

On 7 October 2023, the public consultation on the draft of the revised Law on Administrative Penalties for Public Security was closed. The regulation would add new punishable behaviours. In the context of cybersecurity and hacking, Article 32 prohibits the following: intruding in a computer information system, changing or deleting computer information systems, modifying or deleting data stored in computer information systems, or providing programs performing the mentioned tasks. A violation of Article 32 may result in an administrative penalty of detention up to 15 days.
