Closed Consultation on Draft Ordinance on Consent Management Services

On 14 July 2023, the German Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMVD) closed its consultation on the Draft Ordinance on Consent Management Services (Einwilligungsverwaltungsverordnung – EinwV) under the Federal Act on the Regulation of Data Protection and Privacy in Telecommunications and Telemedia (TTDSG) until 14 July 2023. The Ordinance would regulate recognised consent management services in order to allow for consumer-friendly and competitive proceedings to obtain and manage consumers' consent.
