Issued ruling in KFST investigation into Autobutler

On 28 June 2023, the Danish Competition Council (DCC) issued its ruling in an investigation into Autobutler. Autobutler is a digital platform on which participating car repair shops can offer their services, including a cost estimate to customers. The KFST charged Autobutler with entering into agreements on fixed prices for certain services with car repair shops, which prevented the car repair shops from competing for lower prices. Autobutler was found to violate section 6(1) of the Danish Competition Act and Article 101(1) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. The case now goes to Court for fine determination.
