Description

Opened KFST investigation into Autobutler

On 17 May 2022, the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority (KFST) opened an investigation into Autobutler. Autobutler is a digital platform on which participating car repair shops can offer their services including a cost estimate to customers. The KFST charges Autobutler with entering into agreements on fixed prices for certain services with car repair shops, which would prevent the car repair shops from competing for lower prices and therefore violate competition law.
