Implemented Law 27.275 on the Right of Access to Public Information including data protection authority governance

On 29 September 2017, Law 27.275 on the Right of Access to Public Information, including data protection authority governance, entered into force. Under the Law, a new agency is created, the Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP), which will have the power to ensure compliance with the Law, and data protection regulations and enforce the right of access to public information.
