Argentina: Adopted Law 27.275 on the Right of Access to Public Information including data protection authority governance

On 14 September 2016, the Congress of Argentina adopted Law 27.275 on the Right of Access to Public Information, including data protection authority governance. The Law establishes the creation of the Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP), which will have the power to ensure compliance with the Law and data protection regulations and enforce the right of access to public information.
