Brunei Darussalam: Implementation of CPTPP by Brunei

On 12 July 2023, the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) entered into force for Brunei. The CPTPP contains numerous provisions affecting the digital economy, including, for example, chapters on e-commerce and telecommunications. The CPTPP will enter into force for Brunei 60 days after the date of notification.
