Implemented Amendment to Code of Administrative Offenses on administrative liability for descriting content on Russian state bodies operating abroad (Federal Law No. 62-FZ)

On 25 March 2022, Federal Law No. 62-FZ on Amendments to Articles 8.32 and 20.3-3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation was implemented following its signing into Law by the President on the same day. In particular, the Law expands the applicability of administrative measures against actions or information that discredit the work or activities of Russian state bodies operating abroad, such as embassies, the National Guard, the prosecutor's office and the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
