Description

Entry into force with grace period of E-Commerce Law including registration requirement

On 9 July 2019, the E-Commerce law was adopted through a Council of Ministers decision. The law regulates electronic transactions, contract terms, and defines consumer protection standards. The law applies to any domestic or international service provider that offers goods or services in the Kingdom. According to Article 15, any service provider is to register his/her e-shop in the Commercial Register as specified in the Law of Commercial Register. Any specific requirements are made in the following Regulations.
