Republic of Korea: Opened KFTC investigation into AMD-Xilinx Merger

On 16 February 2021, AMD notified the Korea Fair Trade Commission of its proposed merger with Xilinx. AMD is the second largest producer of central processing units, while Xilinx is the world's biggest producer of Field Programmable Gate Arrays.
