Announced Cyberspace Administration investigation into Micron compliance with security requirements

On 31 March 2023, the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) announced that it had opened a cybersecurity review of US chipmaker Micron regarding its products on the Chinese market. The CAC stated that the aim of the review was to ensure the security of key information security infrastructure supply chains and national security, and prevent cybersecurity and hidden product risks.
