Poland: Issued warning against Eventim and Ticketmaster for advertising misleading prices

On 10 March 2023, the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) announced it had issued a warning against Eventim and Ticketmaster, online ticket sales companies, for misleading consumers regarding ticket prices. According to UOKiK's investigation, it was not possible to purchase tickets for the minimum prices originally listed on the website, with additional costs often only becoming clear in the final stages of the purchase process. The companies are required to submit a report to UOKiK including explanations and indicating changes to their practices.
