Japan: Opened consultation on revised Telecommunications Business Act Enforcement Regulations and Telecommunications Business Reporting Regulations

On 11 March 2023, the Japanese Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications opened a period for public feedback on the draft revised Telecommunications Business Act Enforcement Regulations and Telecommunications Business Reporting Regulations until 10 April 2023. In particular, the Regulations would apply to telecommunications carriers and outline a hierarchy of incidents by significance.
